How To Create User Specific Layout for Single Screen Confirmation Entry Screen (COR6N)

In SAP, COR6N is a transaction code used for creating a confirmation for a process order. It is typically used in the Production Planning module (PP) to record and confirm the completion of production operations.

When you execute transaction code COR6N, you will be prompted to enter the production order number for which you want to create a confirmation. After entering the order number, you can proceed to confirm the production activities.

The confirmation process in COR6N involves recording the actual quantities produced, the activities performed, and the resources consumed during production. You can enter information such as the actual start and end times, the quantities produced, the scrap or rework quantities, and any comments or remarks related to the production order.

Confirming a production order using COR6N allows you to update the production order status and provides real-time information on the progress of the production activities. It also enables better visibility into the actual costs incurred during production, as it captures the actual resource usage.

Creation of Different Confirmation Profile

Firstly you need to create different confirmation profile from transaction code OPK1.

Assigning Confirmation Profile to a Specific User ID

  • Go to transaction code 'SU3'
  • Go to parameter tab. Input set/get parameter ID as 'CORUPROF' and parameter value as 'Confirmation Profile'
  • Save the transaction and check COR6N for required change.

To use a search help in a program or report, you can call the function module "F4_HELP" or "F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST" to display the search help dialog box and retrieve the selected values. You can also customize the search help behavior and appearance using various parameters and options. There are two types of search help available in SAP ABAP: elementary search help and collective search help.
